Enter cash dividends received in 2026/27. Do not include dividends inside an ISA.

Do you have taxable savings income?

Savings income is stacked between other income and dividends and can change the dividend tax bands.

Does an adjustment or special case apply?

Choose yes for Gift Aid or relief-at-source pension contributions, losses or other allowances, foreign income or tax, non-residence, trusts or estates, close-company loan releases, stock dividends, or another unusual distribution.

Your income figures are used only for this calculation. They are not added to a lead record or analytics event.

What this estimate includes

The standard Personal Allowance is reduced by £1 for every £2 of total income above £100,000. Dividends are treated as the highest slice of the supported income and the £500 Dividend Allowance is a 0% rate that still uses tax-band space.

The calculator applies the UK dividend rates to taxpayers throughout the UK. It estimates dividend tax only, not Income Tax on the income entered before dividends and not any final Self Assessment balance.
